Carven

Since the beginning, the Carven house has had a democratic and Parisian view of fashion design. Madame Carmen de Tommaso broke through the austere world of Haute Couture as an innovator in the Forties with a spontaneous and fresh style, adapted to the women’s everyday life at that time.

Since 2009, Carven has opened a new chapter. From the couture years, Guillaume Henry and Carven have kept its heritage. It lives on in the spirit of perfect design and choice materials. Today, the house offers ready-to-wear that is both inspired and accessible.

Canada Goose

Founded in a small warehouse in Toronto, Canada, over fifty years ago, Canada Goose has since grown to be recognized internationally as one of the world's leading manufacturers of extreme weather outerwear.
100% of the production happens in Canada still with their commitment to an outstanding craftsmanship, believing  it's critical to the integrity of the quality to their brand Canada Goose.

Materials ...
They use coyote fur around the hoods on all jackets jackets because it never freezes, doesn't hold water, and the uneven hair lengths create a windbreak that protects exposed skin, helping to reduce heat loss from the face. This holds as true in urban environments as much as it does in the high Arctic.
What makes them so warm ?...
The brand has over 40 years of industry-leading understanding of down insulation technology which allows them to choose the best blends of down to suit the specific requirements of each of the jackets. All of the blends include some Hutterite down, among the most premium Canadian down available. Its ability to retain more warm air than other types of down results in lighter weight jackets that don't sacrifice warmth.

Welcome to Nancie Henry…

Inspiration for the name you ask?  Well, Nancie Henry was actually the name of the current owner’s grandmother. Nancie herself grew up in Colonial India surrounded in a world of retail herself, which brings inspiration for our Elephant logo and inside store deco.

The Boutique is situated North West of England in the quaint town of West Kirby on the Wirral Peninsula, known for being one of the more affluent and prosperous areas to the Wirral.  In the 1920s our store was once a bank and to our advantage the original vault is still here today where we keep our own idea of precious jewels safe in the form of Shoes.

We take great care in selecting our brands and hold pride in the quality of their design. We host many fine Italian brands, a lot of them with hand crafted qualities, and materials sourced locally to their region. Not forgetting we support all the best of British heritage brands and of bringing manufacturing back to Britain.
